Job Description

Location: Johor, Malaysia (Project Site)
Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract (12 months renewable)

As the EHS Supervisor, you will act as the primary safety focal point for a large-scale Data Center construction project. Working on behalf of the PMC, you will oversee contractor compliance, ensure adherence to international data center safety standards, and maintain a zero-incident culture on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety Oversight Monitor daily construction activities to ensure all work is performed in accordance with the Site Safety Plan and Malaysian OSH legislation.
  • Audit & Inspection Conduct regular site walkthroughs and formal audits of subcontractors' equipment, PPE, and work methods.
  • Documentation Review and approve Method Statements and Risk Assessments (HIRARC). Maintain all statutory records required by DOSH.
  • Incident Management Lead accident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Reporting Provide weekly and monthly EHS performance reports to the Project Manager and Client stakeholders.
  • Coordination Facilitate safety tool-box talks and safety committee meetings to ensure clear communication across all site tiers.

Requirements

  • Certification Must possess a valid Yellow Book (Registered Site Safety Supervisor with DOSH).
  • Experience Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in EHS, specifically within large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects. Data Center experience is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge Deep understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994 and Factory and Machinery Act (FMA) 1967.
  • Soft Skills Strong leadership and "firm-but-fair" communication skills to manage diverse subcontractor teams.
  • Location Based in or willing to commute to Johor.
