The EHS Specialist will have the opportunity to help build the Health and Safety foundation for a growing Newark, DE site at the forefront of Advanced Materials manufacturing and innovation. Supporting a mix of site startup, production scale-up, and research & development, this role is ideal for an EHS professional who wants to make a visible impact in an environment where advanced materials and breakthrough technologies come together.
This role supports work connected to technologies and components used in missile defense, military flight engines, space applications, and other advanced platforms, making it an exciting opportunity for an EHS professional who wants to contribute in a high-impact, innovation-driven setting. The EHS Specialist will partner closely with operations, engineering, maintenance, and leadership to identify hazards, assess risk, implement effective controls, and drive strong employee engagement in new Health & Safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment where they can help build programs from the ground up while supporting both production and innovation.

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years (specific) experience in engineering controls, administrative controls, PPE, and safe work procedures

This person should also be an effective communicator who can engage employees at all levels, build trust across functions, and translate safety expectations into practical, day-to-day behaviors.
