Tesla is seeking an ambitious EHS Specialist to support the Gigafactory Nevada Factory located in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center. The EHS&S team use human and organizational performance principles to foster an engaged, agile workforce who are focused on critical safeguard verification and innovative solutions to complex technical and organizational challenges. EHS&S supports Tesla’s people and environment-focused decision making using actionable metrics, world-class resources, and exceptional talent.
The EHS Specialist will use HOP principles to drive ownership of EHS impacts, engage with employees, learn from events, and systematically enhance our operational safeguards. The candidate will develop, implement, and continuously improve programs within the EHS Management System framework in partnership with the broader EHS and Gigafactory teams. They will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations, and conformance to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
