Why This Role Matters

• Ensure a safe and healthy working environment by implementing occupational safety and health measures across the site.

• Support compliance with Serbian occupational safety and health legislation and applicable company standards.

• Identify workplace risks, strengthen preventive measures and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

• Partner with employees and managers to address safety risks and improve working conditions.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct occupational safety and health risk assessments and recommend measures to reduce identified risks.

• Monitor workplace conditions, equipment and safety measures, and coordinate required preventive and periodic inspections and testing.

• Advise on the safe selection, use and maintenance of work equipment, hazardous materials and personal protective equipment.

• Investigate workplace injuries and work-related health issues, identify contributing causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

• Prepare and deliver safety training and develop clear instructions for safe work practices.

• Monitor compliance with legal, regulatory and internal safety requirements and report findings and improvement opportunities to management.

• Take appropriate action when an immediate risk to employee health or safety is identified, including stopping unsafe work where required by law.

What We’re Looking For

Basic Qualifications

• Relevant degree or professional qualification in occupational safety and health, engineering, technical sciences or a related field.

• Experience in occupational safety and health, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Knowledge of Serbian occupational safety and health legislation and relevant regulatory requirements.

• Experience with risk assessment, workplace inspections, incident investigation and employee safety training.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with environmental, health and safety management systems and related standards.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and management.

• Proactive approach to identifying risks, implementing practical solutions and continuously improving workplace safety.
