To serve as an individual contributor on Environmental, Health and/or Safety (EHS) projects and assignments that support and enhance Caterpillar facility performance and compliance.
Responsibilities
• Performs inspections and tests planned to monitor specific EHS issues, regulations and company practices.
• Assists in training employees on EHS guidelines, company policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to EHS.
• Making and maintaining necessary EHS records according to established guidelines.
• Contributes to the development of EHS policies and procedures.
Min requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in an Environmental, Health, and Safety-related discipline, such as Engineering or Science OR 2+ years of related experience
OSHA regulations knowledge
Microsoft office
Preferred requirements:
EHS experience in Manufacturing Environment

• Uses safety or personal protective equipment, e.g. safety boots and protective eyewear.
• Prepares for emergency situations according to EHS policy.
• Replaces hazardous materials with environmentally friendly ones where appropriate.
• Conducts risk assessments to identify hazards in the business, work areas and work processes.
• Completes incident report forms after detecting risks or hazards in the workplace.

Pay Range:
$89,210.00 - $133,810.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
