Job Description

Mission

The EHS Project Manager Officer (PMO) is responsible for supporting EHS initiatives ensuring compliance with regulations and driving a culture of safety across the organisation.

Most tasks of this role involve managing EHS projects from the identification of the need up to the delivery, by integrating required function’s involvement.

The EHS PMO is analyzing, and reporting Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) data to support the organization’s compliance efforts, performance improvement initiatives, and sustainability goals

Responsibilities:

This role involves working with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data collection, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement in EHS performance. The EHS PMO plays a crucial role in ensuring the company meets all regulatory requirements and achieves its environmental and safety objectives.


1. Project Management

  • Plan, execute, and oversee EHS-related projects, related with safety culture program implementations, training initiatives, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
  • Monitor project progress, report on key milestones, and manage project risks and issues.
  • Participate and support key Calderys EHS initiatives,


Among the project to lead:

  • Organisation of the yearly Calderys Safe.day,
  • Improve the Occupational Health assessment tool and animate its use through the perimeter,
  • Improve and update the Gap Analysis tool for protocols assessment,
  • Improve the reporting process.


2. Continuous Improvement and Support

  • Collaborate with the EHS community to support risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysis using data-driven insights.
  • Assist in the development of EHS training materials and programs by providing relevant data and identifying training needs based on performance trends.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to continuously improve data analysis processes and tools.
  • Identify opportunities to automate or improve data collection and reporting processes, collaborating with IT and other departments to implement solutions,


3. Data Collection and Management

  • Gather, validate, and organize EHS data from various sources, including incident reports, safety audits, environmental monitoring systems, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate EHS data collection campaigns through Calderys systems (Evotix, Red-On-Line etc), ensuring data integrity, accuracy.
  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure proper data entry, timely reporting, and compliance with EHS data collection protocols.
  • Identify improvements to EHS dashboards and performance metrics (KPIs) to better track progress toward company goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for corrective actions or improvements based on analysis.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional EHS certification (e.g., NEBOSH, CSP, CIH) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the use of data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of EHS management systems and relevant software applications (ex. Evotix, Red-On-Line etc),.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across global time zones. The role requires flexibility in working hours to ensure smooth communication, timely delivery, and coordination with international teams.
