About the role

EH&S Officer (The Exchange TRX)

We’re looking for a proactive EH&S Officer to support the continuous improvement of safety standards and ensure a secure environment for our tenants, contractors, and visitors. Your role includes but not limited to:

• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.

• Support the development and implementation of Emergency Preparedness Plans (EPP) and Emergency Mitigation Procedures (EMP).

• Monitor the firefighting system and Building Management System (BMS), ensuring timely follow-up on maintenance and corrective work.

• Assist in coordinating government and regulatory inspections.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety documentation, including incident reports, safety records, and training materials.

• Support the planning and execution of emergency drills, safety briefings, and staff training programs.

• Work closely with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to promote safety awareness and ensure compliance with site safety standards.

About you

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH), NIOSH, or equivalent.

• 1–3 years of EH&S experience, preferably in a shopping mall or retail environment. Familiarity with emergency preparedness, firefighting systems, and building control systems.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.

• Highly organized, proactive, and able to perform well in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
