John Zink (JZ), part of Koch Engineered Solution (KES), is looking for an EHS manager The EHS Manager will be responsible for leading and developing our EHS team in Luxembourg. In this role you will be provided with opportunities to lead transformation initiatives, drive our culture, support facility improvement and work on security aspect.

The range of products includes burners, flares, thermal oxidizers, boiler burners, and vapor recovery systems for John Zink Hamworthy Combustion entity. The open position will be located in our JZ office located in Dudelange, GD of Luxembourg

What You Will Do

• Drive the site’s Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate standards, regulatory requirements and ISO standards (ISO 14001/45001).
• Lead & develop the EHS team to focus on value creation and advance the KES vision
• Maintain regulatory compliance and coordinate responses to inspections and reporting requirements
• Support plant leadership by driving risk management/assessment, leading incident prevention initiatives, ensuring regular workplace inspections and designing, tracking and presenting EHS performance metrics
• Manage internal and external EH&S audits and gap assessments
• Facilitate emergency preparedness, response plans and drills
• Oversee contractor safety management including prequalification, safety briefing and monitoring
• Manage environmental programs (permits, waste management, spill response, emissions, and monitoring) to ensure compliance for air emissions, wastewater, waste management, and hazardous materials.
• Promote knowledge sharing and lessons-learned process across global capabilities

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Education in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Fluency in both French and English
• Proven EHS leadership experience, including direct supervisory responsibility in an industrial environment
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence across organizational levels and drive cultural change.
• Strong understanding of hazards and risks associated with manufacturing and testing environments
• Experience with Process Safety Management and Process Hazard Assessment.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Excellent knowledge of relevant EHS/ISO standards and regulations applicable in Luxembourg.
• Demonstrated experience managing Industrial Hygiene programs (e.g. Air Sampling)
• EHS focused experience in manufacturing; experience in heavy industrial environments is preferred.
• Certified Safety Professional (designated worker for group C)
