We have a vacancy for a Site EHS Lead to strengthen our Enschede team. In this role, you will support the Site Leadership Team in developing, implementing, and managing environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures, programs, and practices.
You will:
• Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements, including permits, inspections, monitoring, and annual reporting for air emissions and wastewater.
• Lead and follow up on risk assessments for work, equipment, and chemical use/storage, assign actions to owners, and support effective implementation of improvements.
• Manage regulatory obligations and act as the primary contact for all planned and unplanned agency inspections and audits.
• Lead site emergency response efforts, support incident investigations and root cause analysis, and maintain strong communication around EHS priorities and performance.
• Oversee EHS reviews for capital projects and changes, monitor legal updates, ensure compliance readiness, and manage training and inspection processes for all EHS programs.
• Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, evaluate subcontractors for EHS compliance, and support project teams and field personnel with EHS requirements.
Key Qualifications:
• Post Bachelor education in Dutch Higher Safety Sciences (HVK).
• 5+ years of EHS experience in a company of comparable size.
• Experience with environmental responsibilities such as air emissions and/or hazardous waste.
• Demonstrated ability to manage through others, with strong facilitation and leadership experience.
• Strongly preferred: experience developing and implementing sustainable EHS management systems.
• Strongly preferred: experience with sustainability and energy management strategies.

Pentair is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent pay practices in line with the EU Pay Directive. For this full-time position working at this location, the indicative annualized base salary range will be from € 4.590 - € 6.550 per month. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position, including experience, training, pertinent education and qualifications, work location, any relevant provisions of applicable collective agreements and other relevant business or organizational needs.
Whilst we include an indicative pay range to provide information for you to consider, more detailed information as to your salary will be provided should an offer be made to you, once the company has a better understanding of your skills, qualifications and experience. Additional components of the overall reward package will also be discussed during the recruitment process and will be confirmed to you, which may include an annual incentive bonus
