This role will be located at our Knoxville, Tennessee facility.

The EHS mangeris responsible forthe development,implementationand execution of our EHS programs at our Knoxville facility. This position will work closely with site leadership andlocal functions to build a strong EHS cultureand processes to enable afast growinginnovative company. The right candidate must have strong problem solving and communication skills, a proven background in developingand effectively managingEHSprograms.

What You'll Do...

  • Champion proactive safety initiatives such as hazard identification programs, safety observations, risk assessments, and employee engagement efforts to prevent injuries and improve overall site safety performance
  • Independentlyidentify, characterize, and mitigate risks at the Beehive Knoxville facility
  • Interact and partner directly with site and functional leadership in the development and execution of focused EHS initiatives and objectives
  • Build and support a strong safety culture through leadershipto front line operators
  • Perform investigations into the root cause of injuries, events, and near misses. Ensureappropriate actionsare taken to correct and prevent recurrence of unsafe conditions and/or behaviors
  • Build and deliver effectiveEHStraining to site employees
  • Write, implement, and manage EHS and programs,policiesand procedures
  • Responsible for regulatorycompliance of alllocal, state, and federal requirements and interact with regulators and key stakeholdersas applicable to the Knoxville operations
  • Effectively manage manufacturing byproducts includingHazardousWaste;prioritizing compliance,wasteand cost minimization
  • Collaborateclosely with site team on change management projects

You have...

  • A BS degree in Occupational, Health & Safety Sciences or similar (general science degrees OK)
  • A Minimum of7-10years’experiencein manufacturingor R&Denvironment
  • Experience with additive manufacturing or combustible dust processes a plus
  • Proven experience with process or program management
  • Dynamic and active communicator with strong collaboration skills
  • Technical document writing a plus
  • Broadknowledge of regulatory and consensus standards including OSHA, EPA, NFPA, UL; and the ability to research and translate to businessimpact
  • The ability to obtain andmaintaina U.S. government issued security clearance isrequired. U.S. Citizenship isrequired, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance
