EHS Intern - Summer 2027

The primary purpose of this position is to support all environmental, health, and safety compliance in the designated Hydrite facilities. Through this program, the intern will receive hands on experience in EHS responsibilities and demonstrate understanding through successful completion of the program.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Successfully complete assigned projects including but not limited to:
  • Assist with Incident Review & Investigation including 5 Why analysis and other review techniques
  • Assist in the management of the facilities PPE procurement & management
  • Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and all other duties to be assigned
  • Uphold Hydrite’s Standard of Excellence through a continuous commitment to maintain quality facilities and provide quality products and services to internal and external customers

REPORTING STRUCTURE

  • This position reports to the EHS Manager

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Safety, EHS, or Natural Sciences required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of undergraduate degree coursework completed by start of internship.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with employees and management
  • Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Power Point, Word, and Excel required.
