• Provide professional EHS support with a primary focus on occupational health, chemical safety, and environmental management.
• Support the rollout of EHS standards across chemical safety, occupational health, environmental management and other EHS standards as required.
• Develop procedures and implement risk reduction plans; anticipate, recognize, and evaluate hazardous conditions, and establish effective control methods.
• Optimize EHS resource allocation to maximize impact under constrained budgets and staffing levels.
• Maintain ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 certification at the assigned site; ensure the EHS management system operates effectively with a closed-loop mechanism through implementation of SOPs and WIs.
• Track evolving local EHS regulations to ensure all licenses and permits remain valid and compliant; proactively address gaps arising from increasingly stringent regulatory requirements in China.
• Maintain all EHS documentation to satisfy audit requirements from customers, government authorities, and the Corporate EHS team.
• Conduct safety Gemba Walk;track closure of findings, analyze trends, and define priority focus areas.
• Deploy EHS policies through inspections and assessments; identify improvement actions, report statistics, and communicate regularly with all employees.
• Drive continuous improvement by initiating safety communications, campaigns, employee recognitions, and EHS training programs.
• Coordinate EHS-related committees; promote effective implementation of KPI&COT, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and in full.
• Collect EHS data and complete monthly and quarterly reports; support and deliver annual EHS initiatives to strengthen safety culture.
• Participate in incident investigations for injuries, near misses, and environmental releases; identify root causes and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Support fire protection management activities, including but not limited to inspection, fire protection systems and equipment.
