Job Description

Under general supervision, responsible for applying standard EHS principles and company policies independently to moderately complex assignments supporting environmental, health, and safety compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities

The statements below describe the essential duties of the person or persons assigned to this job. They are not intended as an exhaustive list of all job duties and responsibilities.

  • Build internal and some external collaborative working relationships.
  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve routine EHS compliance issues.
  • Monitor hazardous waste removal and assist in consolidation as needed.
  • Participate in workplace incident investigations.
  • Provide training on workplace safety, emergency response, and hazardous materials to employees.
  • Support industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and life safety initiatives.
  • Perform safety inspections and audits with minimal supervision.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures.
  • Competent in delivering EHS training and guidance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration.
  • Working knowledge of industrial hygiene and ergonomic principles.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local EHS regulations.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certification, & Licensure)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental, Chemical, Safety Engineering, or related field
  • 2 years of relevant industry experience
