EHS ENGINEER
Tasks:
● Coordination of the company's tasks related to environmental protection, health and
occupational safety
● Monitoring laws and regulations, maintaining contact with authorities, ensuring legal
compliance (with the help of an external expert)
● Occupational safety and environmental, health and fire protection activities (inspections,
preparation of internal regulations, etc.)
● Investigating workplace accidents, reporting to the relevant authority
● Preparation and implementation of annual accident prevention, fire prevention, health
and environmental protection plans (training)
● Organization of courses, training, inspections, process development
● Approval of occupational safety equipment, stock tracking, order approval, workwear
management
● Independent organization of mandatory inspections of production machines and sites
● Registration of lifting machines, coordination of their inspections
● Implementation of relevant tasks necessary for the achievement of the company's objectives
● Participation in the preparation of risk assessments
● Organization of environmental data services, official reports, measurements (in cooperation
with an external expert)
● Participation in environmental licensing procedures
● Preparation for audits, participation, and liaising with authorities as required
● Keeping the software used to track corporate EHS actions up to date and developing
Job expectations:
● Higher professional qualification (occupational safety engineer/specialist, environmental
engineer, EHS engineer)
● Knowledge and confident use of English
● Confident knowledge of Hungarian legislation related to the job
● Good communication and cooperation skills
● Precise work, independence
● Reliability, sense of responsibility
● Good stress tolerance and problem-solving skills
