Job Description

Roles will typically be aligned to specific businesses or sectors. Individuals will generally either be located at, and only support, a specific site or project (including construction), or have a role that requires specific industry/business expertise or interaction with specific business customers. This category will include those EHS professionals involved in “designing for EHS” (NPI), individuals responsible for customer or industry engagement, and EHS professionals working at customer sites or projects (generally not managing teams of EHS professionals or regions).
Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

EHS Engineer

Requirement:

1. Bachelor degree or above, English as working language, engineering related majors

2. 1-2 years of machinery factory work experience and work experience in foreign-funded enterprises is preferred

3. Familiar with factory safety management

4. Proficiency in English listening, speaking, reading and writing

5. Strong learning ability and strong communication skills

6. Good teamwork ability, good problem-solving ability

Work Scope:

1. Develop and update safety production documents as needed

2. Cooperate with the execution of EHS management systems

3. Ensure employees comply with EHS procedures, such as EHS inspections, safety teams, change management procedures, etc.

4. Establish first aid team, emergency response team, etc./first aid, emergency response training and drills

5. Special equipment management, to ensure that relevant licenses are obtained according to the requirements of government departments, and to assist relevant personnel in obtaining special operation licenses

6. Approval of permits for high-risk operations

7. Inspection of factory safety hazards

8. Contractor management process execution

9. Formulation and implementation of safety rules and regulations

10. Factory fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, safety signs, fire exits and other fire system inspections and fire protection maintenance, etc.

11. On-site safety inspection

12. EHS training for new employees, contractors, visitors, etc.

13. Occupational health related work

14. Other safety work
