General Purpose:
Execute and coordinate the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) activities and programs t hat drive positive behaviors and results. Under direction from corporate or senior EHS managers, develop, implement, and maintain site policies adhering to local, state, and federal environmental health and safety regulations. Oversee the preparation, maintenance, and updating of EHS policy and procedure manuals. Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations and keep abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Actively engage in location leadership meetings and provide timely feedback regarding regulatory and safety topics.
