Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful and Future-Oriented

In this role you will:

  • Provide EHS and Rail Safety support across construction, testing and commissioning activities for the Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport Project.
  • Promote a continuous improvement culture and implement best-practice safety management systems in the workplace.
  • Monitor daily site activities, provide advice on risks and controls, and ensure compliance with company procedures, WHS legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Support WHS induction and training for employees and subcontractors, including subcontractor compliance management.
  • Conduct audits, site inspections and incident investigations, recommending corrective actions where required.
  • Monitor Rollingstock Operations compliance for Rail Safety as part of ONRSR accreditation, with flexibility required during testing and commissioning phases.

  • Minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety.
  • ICAM training preferred, with White Card and RISI card also preferred.
  • Identified Rail Safety Worker, with experience working across complex stakeholder environments.
  • Open, approachable and self-directed, with a flexible approach to site and project requirements.
