Job Description

Our client, a Tier 1 Main Contractor, is seeking an EHS Administrator to join their Southern Region EHS Team, based in Cork. This role provides administrative and operational support across EHS digital systems, reporting, training administration, document control and certification activities, working closely with the Regional EHS Manager and EHS Coordinator. The successful candidate will bring strong organisational and IT skills and enjoy working with systems, people and data in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Southern Region EHS Team, maintaining EHS registers, records, trackers and databases.
  • Support EHS digital platforms including Procore, Skillko, FlowForma and SharePoint.
  • Prepare and distribute EHS reports, KPI information and management presentations.
  • Support safety campaigns, behavioural safety initiatives, wellbeing programmes and employee engagement activities.
  • Administer training records, competency tracking and training gap analysis, including site induction administration.
  • Prepare and issue toolbox talks, presentations, posters and other safety awareness materials.
  • Support document control for EHS records, inspections, audits, permits and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with internal and external audit preparation, and the administration of Safe-T-Cert, NSAI and other certification requirements.
  • Assist with tender submissions, pre-construction EHS documentation and Construction Stage Safety & Health Plans where required.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Business Administration, Health & Safety, Digital Systems, Project Administration or a related discipline.
  • Excellent IT skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and document control skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
