How You’ll Make a Difference (Essential Functions)

The EHR Analyst at Agrace must have experience supporting the Dorothy and Comfort modules within Epic, including Remote Client. The role requires familiarity with complex organizational change management and approval processes. Responsibilities include responding to end user support tickets and participating in an after-hours on-call rotation. An Epic certification in Dorothy is required; Comfort certification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Epic Builder
    • Analyze, design, develop, build/configure/code, test, debug, and document activities to support the implementation and maintenance of the Epic platform.
    • Facilitate the development, testing, implementation, and documentation of monthly software updates/client packs and quarterly system upgrades.
    • Monitors Epic system for issues related to maintenance, upgrades, and implementations.
    • Accurately check processes and tasks and ensure data integrity for assigned applications, testing to ensure new code does not impact previous version.
    • Coordinate any shared category lists and system settings with the partner application teams.
    • Create and maintain technical application documentation including test plans, application architecture diagrams, data flows, use cases and workflows
    • Prioritize and implement change control to all assigned systems and modules.
    • Perform and assist other team members in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance functions.
  • End-user support
    • Perform in-depth analysis of Epic workflows, applications, and systems; develop solutions to meet business requirements; compare and evaluate options; and recommend a course of action.
    • Process, troubleshoot and log end-user issues and resolution in ticketing software.
    • Act as a resource for client data corrections.
    • Serve as a liaison between Infrastructure and/or vendor technical contacts.
    • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
  • Process Improvement
    • Perform in-depth analysis of Epic workflow/application/system and develop solutions to meet business requirements, compare and evaluate options, and recommend a course of action.
    • Uses knowledge of best practices and how areas of Epic integrate with each other to assist in performing business operational process design, reengineering and documentation for new technology.
    • Assist with project documentation preparation.

You Bring (

Qualifications)

  • Dorothy certification required; Comfort certification preferred
  • 2 years’ experience supporting Epic.
  • Advanced experience with Remote Client build and troubleshooting, including Client Packs
  • Advanced knowledge building Careplans and working with SmartText
  • General knowledge and experience building Reporting Workbench
  • Basic experience with Security Templates
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to research and resolve complex issues independently
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality about patients, families, caregivers, staff, donors, and organizational intellectual property
