Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Deployment Specialist to support Kadiak and our government customer. The position is remote.

The Deployment Specialist serves as an operational deployment and go-live support specialist within a federal Electronic Health Record (EHR) modernization Program Management Office (PMO) Implementation & Deployment (I&D) Task supporting enterprise EHR modernization activities within a complex federal healthcare environment.

This role supports site readiness, go-live coordination, incident command operations, and post-deployment stabilization activities across federal healthcare sites and deployment cohorts. The position requires onsite presence during go-live events to support command center operations, real-time issue tracking, and operational continuity at deployment locations.

The Deployment Specialist works under the direction of senior PMO I&D leadership and collaborates with federal stakeholders, implementation partners, site leadership, clinical teams, technical staff, and supporting deployment personnel to ensure successful go-live execution and operational stabilization across assigned deployment sites.

This is a full-time remote position with approximately 25% travel required to support onsite go-live events, site readiness activities, and deployment operations across federal healthcare facilities and geographic regions.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on EHR deployment experience, strong operational coordination skills, and demonstrated ability to support go-live and incident command activities within federal healthcare or similarly complex enterprise healthcare environments.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Support PMO I&D go-live coordination and site readiness activities across assigned federal healthcare deployment sites, cohorts, and geographic locations
• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of go-live preparedness activities including site readiness assessments, pre-go-live checklists, readiness reviews, and deployment preparation tasks
• Support incident command and command center operations during go-live events, including real-time issue tracking, escalation coordination, and operational status reporting
• Monitor and document go-live activities, operational issues, incident trends, and stabilization progress to support command center visibility and leadership awareness
• Coordinate with site leadership, clinical staff, technical teams, implementation partners, and PMO personnel to support go-live execution and issue resolution during deployment events
• Track and escalate operational issues, deployment risks, readiness gaps, and go-live incidents to appropriate PMO leadership and stakeholders in a timely manner
• Support post-go-live stabilization activities including issue tracking, operational monitoring, transition-to-sustainment coordination, and stabilization reporting
• Assist in developing and maintaining go-live coordination plans, site readiness trackers, incident logs, deployment status reports, and operational summaries supporting PMO I&D oversight activities
• Participate in go-live coordination meetings, readiness reviews, operational workgroups, and deployment planning sessions supporting implementation preparedness and site readiness activities
• Communicate effectively with clinical, operational, technical, and non-technical stakeholders at deployment sites to support go-live operations and operational continuity
• Support development of go-live status updates, incident summaries, stabilization reports, and deployment coordination briefings for PMO leadership and federal stakeholders
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Teams, SharePoint, and related tools to support go-live coordination, incident tracking, readiness documentation, and deployment reporting activities
• Travel onsite to federal healthcare facilities (approximately 25%) to support go-live events, site readiness activities, command center operations, and stabilization efforts
• Operate effectively within a fast-paced, high-visibility federal healthcare consulting environment supporting evolving deployment priorities and concurrent go-live activities

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Demonstrated experience supporting EHR implementation, go-live coordination, deployment readiness, or operational stabilization activities within healthcare or federal healthcare environments
• Working knowledge of go-live coordination practices, site readiness methodologies, incident command operations, command center processes, and deployment stabilization activities
• Experience tracking and escalating operational issues, deployment risks, readiness gaps, and incident items within complex implementation environments
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities within dynamic deployment environments
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey operational status, deployment concerns, and go-live updates to diverse stakeholder groups
• Ability to work collaboratively with clinical, operational, technical, and executive stakeholders across geographically dispersed deployment environments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation, issue logs, readiness trackers, and deployment records under time-sensitive conditions
• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure, fast-paced go-live and incident command environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Teams, SharePoint, and related project coordination tools

Desired Skills and Competencies:

• Experience supporting Oracle Health Millennium/Cerner, Epic, or other major EHR platforms within healthcare implementation environments preferred
• Familiarity with federal healthcare programs, government healthcare modernization initiatives, or similarly regulated federal healthcare environments preferred
• Working knowledge of healthcare incident management, command center coordination, operational stabilization practices, and deployment lifecycle activities
• Experience supporting multi-site go-live events, onsite deployment activities, or large-scale EHR implementation efforts preferred
• Familiarity with healthcare informatics, clinical workflows, or health information management practices preferred
• Experience supporting operational process improvement initiatives within healthcare modernization or EHR deployment environments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business Administration, Public Health, Management, Health Informatics, or related field required. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements where appropriate
• Minimum 2–3 years of project management experience supporting healthcare IT, EHR deployment, go-live coordination, or related implementation activities
• Minimum 5 years of experience working within or supporting Federal Government programs or similarly regulated environments
• 3–5 years of experience supporting Electronic Health Record implementation, deployment, or go-live activities in a project management or operational coordination capacity
• Experience supporting federal healthcare programs, government contracting environments, or similarly regulated healthcare organizations preferred
• U.S. citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance
• Ability to travel approximately 25% to support onsite go-live events and deployment activities at federal healthcare facilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital, clinic, or ambulatory healthcare operations experience preferred
• Health informatics experience or familiarity with clinical workflow integration preferred
• Experience presenting go-live status updates, deployment coordination summaries, or operational briefings to stakeholder groups or leadership preferred
• PMP, ITIL, or related project management certifications preferred
• Master's degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or related field preferred
