Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bromley to assist with the appointment of an EHCP Coordinator, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £153.80 - £202.57 per day

We are seeking an experienced EHCP Coordinator to join a new assessments team supporting the delivery of Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments. The role involves managing the EHCP assessment process, working closely with families, schools, and professionals to ensure timely, effective, and person-centred support for children and young people with additional needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNA)
  • Work closely with parents, carers, schools, and professionals throughout the EHCP process
  • Ensure statutory timelines and compliance requirements are met
  • Gather, review, and coordinate professional advice and assessment information
  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation

Essential Requirements:

  • Relevant experience within SEND, education, or social care essential
  • Experience managing EHCP or EHC Needs Assessment processes
  • Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and statutory assessment procedures
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work confidently with parents, schools, and professionals
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage caseloads effectively
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines
