Role Summary

The Operations Executive will provide professional support to Principles, resolve shipment-related inquiries, and ensure a smooth flow of information between clients and principles. As well as ensuring accurate and timely preparation, verification, and release of shipping documentation in compliance with company policies and customer requirements.

Contract: Permanent

Location: Damietta, Egypt (On-Site)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow up with the principal and obtain the discharge list for each vessel.
  • Prepare and enter all required import B/L data in the system for uploading to the customs platform.
  • Send arrival notices to customers prior to the vessel’s arrival.
  • Prepare and issue Delivery Orders to customers for cargo delivery.
  • Prepare and send import invoices to local customers after the vessel arrives and the import operation is completed.
  • Follow up with local customers and principals to resolve any import-related issues.
  • Coordinate with the relevant internal teams, customers, and principals to ensure smooth and timely completion of import operations.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in Import shipping documentation, logistics, or a similar field.
  • Knowledge of Import shipping documentation (e.g., Bills of Lading, customs requirements).
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Familiarity with freight forwarding or NVOCC operations or shipping lines.
  • Experience with shipping software systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
