Purpose of Role

TheeFXbusinessis responsible forall pricing,distributionand auto risk management of ecommerce FX business in Markets. It specialises inoperatinga low latency platform ensuring highresiliencyfor all clients 24 hours a day. The business isoperatingat record levels regularly tradingin excess of50k tickets per day. It covers G10, deliverable EM pairsand alsoNDF’s.  

What does this role holder do?

  • Understand  therisk being run by theeFXportfolio and all associated pricing and risk management strategies

  • Ensure pricing is competitive and focussed on key clients

  • Support andmaintaina robust risk control environment

  • Manage allday to dayrisks efficiently and in well controlled manner, from the automated market making business

  • Highlight day to day issues to Support, Technology and Quant Trading in order be remediated andultimately forproduct improvement

  • Effectively manage Liquidity Provider relationships

  • Collaborate with global sales teams to drive forward the client agenda helping to produce relevant MI,actionsand product improvement. Focus on delivering the Client Strategy

  • Assistin the creation of innovative trading products as well as new pricing,executionor hedging techniques

  • Be able to provide in depth analysis and build suitable reports of the business through use of internal tools e.g. Goldmine, KDB

  • Ensure that activities are within risk management policies covering market, operational, credit and regulatory risks

  • Escalate any breaches,risksor weaknesses in line with policy

  • Ensure portfolio is compliant with dealing authorities, positions and risk limits and RBS’

  • Work witheFXtechnology and technical leads to achieve desired business outcomes

  • Ensure weoperatea well-controlled business and deliver all regulatory requirements specific to aneFXbusiness

What are the skills, knowledge and experience needed to do the role?

The successful candidates willbe requiredtoestablishclose working relationships globally across the Currencies Trading and Sales business lines andmaintainsimilar relationship with our business partners in middle and back office.

Skills Required

  • Experience and understanding ofeFXproducts and associated systems

  • Experience of FX Analytics

  • Understanding  offull life cycle ofeFXproducts e.g. Client execution through to market interaction

  • FX technology experience preferable

  • Understanding of trading and hedging strategies along with specific market idiosyncrasies

  • Demonstrable and thorough understanding of the Regulatory environment affecting the FX trading business

  • ExperienceutilizingPython for data analysis, research, or model development

The expected base annual salary range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000 at the start of employment. This is not a guarantee of compensation.  The exact compensation isdetermined  onan individualized basis and may vary based on skills, experience, training licensure,certificationsand location.  In addition to base salary, our total rewards package also includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus; medical, dental, and vision plans; life and disability insurance; employee wellness programs; retirement and savingsplanswith potential employer contributions; generous paid time off policy, parentalleaveand tuition reimbursement.
