Human Resources Specialist III - $85,937 - $133,073
Human Resources Specialist II - $75,666 - $98,815
The Office of Human Resources (OHR) is seeking an EEO Specialist (Human Resources Specialist II/III) who believes fairness is a practice, not a slogan: someone who can conduct a thorough, impartial investigation on Monday, advise a department on a sensitive EEO inquiry on Tuesday, and lead a training session that changes how managers think on Wednesday.
In this role, you will be a trusted resource for employees, managers, and County leadership. You will ensure the County meets its obligations under federal, state, and local equal employment opportunity laws, and you will help shape a culture where concerns are raised early, resolved fairly, and used to make the organization stronger.
As the EEO Specialist, you'll be instrumental in creating a workplace where diversity is celebrated, discrimination is addressed promptly, and every employee feels valued. Your expertise will help shape policies and practices that promote equity across the organization as you accomplish these major duties:
Human Resources Specialist III – Three years of experience in the equal employment opportunity function of human resources administration.
Human Resources Specialist II – Two years of experience in the equal employment opportunity function of human resources administration.
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Public Administration, Civil Rights, or related field from an accredited college or university.
(1) An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
(2) Possession of a graduate degree in one of the above fields may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
