Position Purpose

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care to a specified group of patients. Collaborates with physicians, medical professionals and other staff to ensure the quality of care given. Utilizes knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient's age to ensure that care provided meets the unique physical needs of the patient. Involves appropriate parties in the assessment, treatment and continuing care of the patient as needed.

As a “EEG Tech” you will:

  • Conducts routine EEG studies throughout the hospital and in the laboratory for Holy Cross Health.
  • Cleans machine and maintains equipment in working order
  • Performs and maintains long term video monitoring patients throughout the Holy Cross Health.
  • Provides care for the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patient (as defined in the unit scope of care).
  • Takes on-call responsibility and responds to emergencies during non-scheduled hours.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred six months experience performing non-invasive Electroencephalography procedures.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with medical, nursing, and administrative staff.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and work experience required to provide comparable knowledge skills and abilities.
  • Able to demonstrate good ability to communicate using English language in written and verbal fashion, promoting a team approach to patient care
  • BLS through AHA

Pay Range: $24.12 - $37.43

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
