• Performs Neurological Technical Procedures: This includes using a variety of instruments for recording EEG,
Evoked Potential, 10M and EMG/NC studies. These procedures are performed in the department and at
bedside, in O.R.at multiple locations within Deaconess Health System.
• Performs instrument maintenance: This involves performing various instrument checks and calibrations to
ensure accuracy.
• Participates in departmental and hospital performance improvement teams as appropriate.
• Complies with Standards of Employee Conduct and promotes a patient safety culture.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions, and
procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups
of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight and
measurement.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited
standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule
form.
This job requires computer and systems competency by entering and retrieving data. Maintains confidentiality of
data.
