Ce poste exige une solide compréhension de la conception des systèmes de commande électroniques pour les unités de commande électronique de moteurs, ainsi que pour l’application de capteurs et d’actionneurs associés aux systèmes de commande de moteurs à turbines. Le candidat devra effectuer l’analyse technique initiale de système pour les nouveaux systèmes de commande électronique de moteurs, ainsi que créer les spécifications pour ces systèmes et évaluer les réponses des fournisseurs à ces spécifications. Le candidat devra aussi avoir une connaissance pratique des principes de conception électronique applicables à l’environnement aéronautique.
Principales responsabilités:
Le candidat doit être en mesure de faire ce qui suit :
Examiner, évaluer et élaborer les accessoires électroniques actifs et électriques passifs conçus par les fournisseurs et nécessaires aux moteurs d’avion afin de répondre aux besoins des clients, ainsi qu’en matière de rendement et de fiabilité;
Créer des spécifications en faisant appel à son savoir technique;
Effectuer de la planification et de la coordination avec les fournisseurs, le cas échéant;
Définir les exigences fonctionnelles, opérationnelles et physiques, ainsi que les exigences de qualification, pour les commandes électroniques, les capteurs, les effecteurs de moteurs et les composants interconnectés associés;
Appuyer les activités d’essai de validation des systèmes et composants, le cas échéant (du soutien sur place à divers endroits peut être requis pour les activités de certification);
Fournir du soutien pour les essais électromagnétiques des systèmes de commande de moteur, y compris l’élaboration et l’exécution des plans d’essai, ainsi que l’examen des résultats d’essai;
Examiner et interpréter les données pendant les essais de validation de moteurs et des composants;
Créer des rapports de certification de haut niveau, qui seront soumis aux autorités nationales ou étrangères de certification de navigabilité;
Améliorer continuellement les processus de l’organisation en fonction des leçons apprises lors du développement des produits et de l’expérience en service;
Assurer le soutien technique aux fournisseurs afin de garantir la transition en douceur des nouveaux produits à la production;
Offrir du soutien technique au secteur de l’après-vente de P&WC pour résoudre les problèmes sur le terrain.
Qualifications requises du poste:
Baccalauréat en ingénierie avec 5 à 7 ans d’expérience
Maîtrise avec au moins 2 à 3 ans d’expérience

Key responsibilities:
Candidates should be able to:
Review, evaluate and develop supplier designs of powered electronic and passive electrical accessories needed for aircraft engines to meet performance, reliability and customer needs;
Create specifications, apply technical knowledge;
Plan and coordinate with suppliers as required;
Define functional, operational, physical and qualification requirements for engine electronic controls, sensors, effectors and associated interconnecting components;
Support component and system validation test activities as required. On-site support at various sites may be required in support of certification activities;
Support engine control system Electromagnetic tests, including the development and execution of test plans and review of the test results;
Review and interpret test data produced during component and engine validation testing;
Generate top-level certification reports for submittal to national and foreign airworthiness certification authorities;
Provide continuous improvement to organizational processes based on lessons learned through product development and in-service experience;
Provide technical support to suppliers to ensure smooth transition of new products into production;
Provide technical support to P&WC’s aftermarket sector to advance field issues
Required Job Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in engineering with 5 to 7 years' experience
Master degree with a minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
The salary range for this role is 101,500 CAD - 151,500 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
