As part of our OSHC family, you will:

  • Create and lead fun, inclusive and engaging activities for primary school-aged children
  • Help design and deliver exciting program calendars
  • Support the safety, wellbeing and development of young minds
  • Work closely with children, families and OSHC Coordinators
  • Join a network of 200+ educators supporting communities across NSW
  • Access clear development pathways to build new skills and grow your career

About you

At the Y NSW:

  • Our people are passionate about supporting their communities
  • Our educators are driven to inspire learning beyond the classroom
  • We’re committed to providing safe, welcoming and supportive environments
  • Safeguarding children is at the heart of everything we do

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re enthusiastic, caring, reliable—and excited about supporting children to learn, grow and have fun.

What you’ll need

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Experience supervising and interacting with children
  • A strong understanding of child safeguarding priorities
  • Availability across Before School, After School and Vacation Care hours
  • HLTAID012 – Provide an Emergency Response in an Education and Care Setting and CPR (Required)
  • CHCPRT025 – Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk (Desirable)
  • A valid Working with Children Check
  • A Police Check (paid for by the Y)

Ready to make a difference?

If you’re passionate about education, flexibility, and creating meaningful moments for young people, we’d love to hear from you.

Join us at the Y NSW and help create brighter futures for young people.

We are a child-safe, inclusive and values-driven organisation that celebrates diversity and supports our people to thrive.
