Welcome to The Y Ettalong OSHC, a vibrant and community-focused service located on the beautiful Central Coast. As an educator, you’ll be joining a team dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where children can learn, play and thrive.

Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? Do you love creating fun, engaging, and safe environments where kids can thrive? If so, we'd love to hear from you! We're on the lookout for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated person to join our team as a casual OSHC Educator at our beautiful Ettalong Beach service.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and friendly team that genuinely cares about the wellbeing and development of every child in our care. Whether you're looking to grow your career in education and childcare, or you're already experienced and want a flexible casual role — this could be the perfect fit for you!

What You'll Be Doing

As a casual OSHC Educator, you'll play a key role in our before and after school care program. Here's a taste of what your days will look like:

  • Supervising and engaging with children in a safe, nurturing, and fun environment
  • Planning and facilitating creative, age-appropriate activities that kids will absolutely love
  • Building positive and meaningful relationships with children, families, and your fellow team members
  • Supporting children's social, emotional, and physical development every single day
  • Ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care
  • Contributing to a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued
  • Following all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements

What We're Looking For

We'd love to meet someone who brings energy, kindness, and a genuine love for working with children. Here's what will help you shine in this role:

  • A relevant qualification in childcare, education, or a related field (or working towards one)
  • Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • A friendly, approachable, and positive attitude
  • Great communication skills with both children and adults
  • Reliability and flexibility to work casual shifts during before and after school hours
  • A genuine passion for child development and education

Why You'll Love Working With Us

We truly believe that happy educators create happy children, and we work hard to make sure our team feels supported, appreciated, and inspired. Here's what you can look forward to:

  • A welcoming and collaborative team culture
  • A stunning Ettalong Beach location — yes, it's as lovely as it sounds!
  • Flexible casual hours that work around your lifestyle
  • Ongoing professional development and training opportunities
  • A meaningful role where you truly make a difference every day

If this sounds like the kind of role that gets you excited, we'd absolutely love to hear from you! Don't hesitate to reach out or apply — we can't wait to welcome the right person to our team. 😊
