Our Children Services Team are the passionate leaders giving developing young minds the opportunity to learn, grow and have fun outside of school. Across 47 schools in NSW, our team of OSHC Educators and Coordinators provide before and after school (and school holiday) care that’s dedicated to the safety and development of young children. Every day, the team facilitate and run a range of valuable programs and activities that include sport, creative arts, cooking – and many more. These roles work closely with children, parents and teachers alike, to provide meaningful opportunities for young people within a healthy, safe and inclusive environment. If you’re a driven, dedicated leader who brings energy and enthusiasm to everything you do, you’ll find the support and flexibility to explore a promising career in childcare or education.

You must be available for a minimum of 3 weekdays per week.

We seek a casual educator to support children at our OSHC services in Revesby South.

Opportunity to move to a permanent role for the right candidate.

About your new role

  • You will provide fun and engaging activities for primary school-age children
  • You will help design a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging program activities
  • Reporting to the Coordinators of our OSHC centres, you will be one of over 200 educators who support children across NSW
  • You will be able to follow our development pathways to learn new skills and build your career

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience supervising and interacting with children
  • Ability to follow safeguarding priorities
  • Availability to supervise Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care hours
  • Current First Aid HLTAID012 - Provide an emergency response in an education and care setting and CPR
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Police Check (paid for by the Y)

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
