Job Description

Eram Talent is looking for a skilled Educational Psychologist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will work closely with students, educators, and parents to assess and support the psychological well-being and educational development of learners. You will leverage your expertise to help create a positive learning environment, promote mental health awareness, and implement effective strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.

If selected, the work location would be onsite at Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' learning challenges and needs.
• Provide counseling and support to students facing emotional, behavioral, and academic difficulties.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and interventions.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for teachers and parents on topics such as learning styles, classroom management, and mental health.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and interventions.
• Advocate for students' educational rights and provide guidance on special education processes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Stay current with research and best practices in educational psychology and mental health.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in educational psychology or related field (i.e., developmental psychology, educational counseling, school social work or physiotherapy; Master's degree or higher preferred
• Valid and recognized educational psychology training
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience as an educational psychologist, special education instructor, counselor, advisor or relevant role that involves the application of educational psychological theory and praxis
• Experience working with people who have a wide range of disabilities and needs
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and educators.
• Familiarity with special education laws and processes in Saudi Arabia.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload.
• Strong commitment to promoting mental health and well-being in educational settings.
