About the role

Tall Tree Early Learning Subiaco is a boutique early learning service in the heart of the Subiaco community. This heritage listed building provides a home away from home setting for our children. We're now looking for a passionate Educational Leader to join the leadership team. Working closely with the Centre Manager this pivotal role will help to guide our educators, lift practice and make sure every child's learning is purposeful, reflective and fun.

You'll be:

  • Leading curriculum planning, documentation and assessment in line with the EYLF V2.0 and the NQS
  • Mentoring and coaching educators through critical reflection, modelling and feedback
  • Driving the Quality Improvement Plan and supporting our Assessment and Rating readiness
  • Building strong partnerships with families and the local community
  • Spending time on the floor to model the practice you want to see

In addition you will be able to assist the Centre Manager with the day-to-day running of the centre, stepping in to assist families, educators and children where required.

About you

You will have:

  • A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ECT) or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care with minimum 3 years experience
  • Previous Educational Leader or room leader experience in a long day care setting
  • Strong knowledge of the NQF, EYLF V2.0 and NQS
  • A warm, collaborative coaching style that builds confidence in others
  • Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis and Asthma training (or willing to get them)
  • Full working rights in Australia
