Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Educational Designer to join the School of Medicine, supporting the MBChB programme within the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences.
In this role, you will provide hands‑on leadership and oversight of digital learning resources, ensuring they are high‑quality, accessible and aligned with University digital learning principles. Working closely with academic and professional colleagues, you will contribute to engaging, sustainable learning experiences that enhance student learning and support teaching excellence

This is a part-time (32 hours per week) fixed term opportunity for 36 months.
The salary range for this role is $105,791 - $139,199 based on skills and experience.

You are a collaborative educational designer with experience in tertiary or health‑related education environments. You enjoy working alongside academics to translate learning goals into engaging digital experiences and bring a user‑centred, accessible design mindset to your work. You are confident working with learning management systems and educational technologies, communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, and are motivated by contributing to meaningful learning experiences in a complex academic setting
