Job Description

Position Information

• Part time Educational Assistant working with students 17 and over who are learning English.
• Assist teachers with classroom instruction, one-on-one instruction, and small group instruction.
• Assist students individually or in a group for the purpose of reinforcing learning concepts taught by a certified teacher.
• Provide general classroom support; making copies of classroom materials; help with attendance.
• Work as a team member with other professionals.
• Attend training workshops and other school meetings as required.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Good communication skills
• Works well with a diverse group of people
• Flexible with job assignments
• Bilingual a plus, but not necessary

Start date September 22, 2026

• Approximately 4.5 hours a week, Tuesday and Wednesday 5:45 pm - 8:15 pm
• Rate of Pay - $16.42 - $20.50 depending on experience
