The Tepper School is searching for full-time, fixed-term Education Technology Specialist for a six-month appointment. The Education Technology Specialist will support the delivery and maintenance of academic and co-curricular courses in Canvas, an online learning management system (LMS), and other related learning technology platforms for Tepper Graduate Programs.
This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment focused on effectively applying technology to enhance teaching and learning.
Core responsibilities include:
Completing initial preparation of Canvas course shells for specified academic courses
Completing quality assurance checks for specified academic courses
Maintaining co-curricular courses, including implementing revisions for next cycle of use
Implementing specific educational assignments and activities with Canvas LTI tools and/or in related educational technology applications
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
1+ years of experience in an education setting, preferably higher education
A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered
Requirements:
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check

Carnegie Mellon is not a qualifying employer for the STEM OPT benefit: only the 12-month OPT may be used to work at Carnegie Mellon.
