If you are an expert Education Services Manager, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you. Based at our compression headquarters in Sidney, OH, you will ensure that current contractors and the next generation of contractors will receive the highest level of training when it comes to HVACR system fundamentals, system operation and maintenance, and compression technologies.

AS ANEDUCATION SERVICES MANAGER, YOU WILL:

  • Design trainings/curriculum focused on HVAC/R

  • Create monthly department statistic report

  • Manage department assets (shipments, quantity, condition)

  • Look for opportunities to streamline and expand trainings

  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and learning process

  • Identifyand analyzeappropriate learningsolutions based on training requirements

  • Manages overall projects to ensure a globally consistent training experience that directlyimpactsemployee success.

  • Write learningobjectivesused to measure learning outcomes and provide recommendations for interface design, sequencing of instruction, and use of needs assessments

  • Collaborate/partner with subject matter experts to gather information, verify training material content, identify target audience’s training needs to produce classroom, scenario-based, and online courses (including self-led and instructor-led programs, e-learning, blended learning, multimedia content, onboarding, asynchronous learning, and other supporting materials) and engaging and effective instructional and training materials covering a range of technical, operational, and soft skills training

  • Assess performance outcomes todetermineinstructional effectiveness of course materials and review existing courses for relevancy, quality, and consistency and work with subject matter experts to implement revisions or updates asappropriate

  • Monitor industry trends and present recommendations for on-demand education, including topics of interest and delivery methods.

  • Continually explorenew technologiesfor potential application to instructional problems and associated performance improvement efforts

  • Moderate orfacilitatevirtual training events for internal and external learners

  • Assistor manage in-person training events for internal and external learners

  • Collaborate with team and marketing to promote all training

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, humanresourcesor a related discipline

  • 5 years related work experience

  • Knowledge of learning and development best practices

  • A proventrack recordof training program development and management

  • Excellent leadership skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Problem solving skills are essential

  • Ability tomonitorand maintain a budget

  • Ability to multitask and jump between multiple items at any given time

  • Ability to work independently to schedule and lead meetings, gather information and consistently meet deadlines for project deliverables

  • Experience with Articulate 360

  • Ability to travelup to ~10%.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Master’s degree in education, humanresourcesor a related discipline

  • 10 years related work experience

  • Proficiencyin educational software, databases, current technology trends

  • 3D modeling experience a plus

  • HVAC/R experience an advantage

Collaboration First Hybrid Work Arrangements:

This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration first mindset, which is the understanding that teams will work together in-person and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs. You will have an opportunity to work with your team and leader to determine when you should be in office to drive meaningful connections and to best serve our customers.

Our newly renovated Sidney campus has 1M square feet of manufacturing floor with an additional 120k square feet of leading-edge lab facilities. This location is the headquartersforour HVACR Americas business unit. Through our many years of compressor expertise, our products help bring comfort and convenience to refrigeration, commercial, industrial, and residential spaces. Approximately 1600 employees work in Sidney, who all support a multitude of business functions.
