We’re looking for an Education Research Analyst to lead efforts related to the psychometric and technical integrity of statewide assessment programs.

Job Duties:
As an Education Research Analyst supporting statewide assessment programs, the employee will:
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, or Job Appointment. The person hired for this position is expected to report to the Baton Rouge office as requested. Current permanent classified state employees may be required to accept a probationary appointment, if selected.
Career Progression: This position participates in a Career Progression Group. As part of a Career Progression Group, vacancies may be filled from this recruitment as an Education Research Analyst 1/2/3, depending on the level of experience of the selected applicant.
Work Schedule: Workdays are Monday - Friday; work hours will be determined.
Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
Hourly: $26.32 – $40.45
Monthly: $4,561.27 – $7,011.00
Annually: $54,735.20 – $84,136.00
Hourly: $30.13 – $46.31
Monthly: $5,221.67 – $8,027.00
Annually: $62,660.00 – $96,325.00
**Note regarding the advertised pay range: Beginning at the Education Research Analyst 1 level, this series have a special entrance rate (SER) of $22.98/hour that is above the minimum hire rate for these positions. The maximum amounts listed are the maximum salary amounts a person can make over their career and not the maximum amount we are allowed to pay a new hireNo Civil Service test score is required in order to be considered for this vacancy.
