Job Description – Education Recruitment Delivery Consultant

Reports to: Recruitment Team Lead

Location: Remote (South Africa) – supporting UK education recruitment teams

Hours: Full-time, aligned to UK business hours

Salary: R20 000 - R25 000

Purpose of the Role

The Education Recruitment Delivery Consultant is responsible for identifying, engaging, screening, and placing high-quality education professionals into schools across the UK. Working closely with UK-based consultants and hiring managers, you will build strong candidate pipelines, manage the recruitment process from initial outreach through to placement, and deliver an outstanding candidate experience.

This is a fast-paced, relationship-driven role requiring strong sourcing ability, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to managing multiple vacancies simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing & Recruitment

Source high-quality education professionals using job boards, LinkedIn, databases, referrals, and headhunting techniques.

Conduct competency-based telephone and video interviews to assess candidate suitability.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of teachers, teaching assistants, SEN professionals, cover supervisors, and other education staff.

Match candidates to suitable vacancies based on skills, experience, availability, and location.

Present shortlisted candidates to the UK recruitment team with detailed interview notes and recommendations.

Proactively build talent pools for future vacancies and market demand.

Candidate Management

Build strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Provide guidance on UK education opportunities, interview preparation, and market insights.

Maintain regular communication with active candidates to keep them engaged.

Manage candidate expectations around availability, salaries, and recruitment timelines.

Ensure a positive candidate experience from first contact through to placement.

Recruitment Process Management

Manage multiple vacancies and candidate pipelines simultaneously while working to agreed KPIs.

Keep the CRM and ATS updated with accurate candidate information and recruitment activity.

Coordinate interviews between candidates and UK consultants where required.

Work closely with the compliance team to ensure successful candidates progress efficiently through onboarding.

Support consultants by proactively identifying suitable candidates for current and future vacancies.

Business Collaboration

Develop strong working relationships with UK consultants and branch teams.

Share market intelligence, candidate feedback, and recruitment trends.

Work collaboratively to achieve individual and team placement targets.

Contribute ideas to improve recruitment processes and sourcing strategies.

Build strong pipelines of qualified education professionals.

Consistently deliver quality shortlisted candidates against agreed SLAs.

Achieve individual recruitment KPIs and placement targets.

Maintain excellent candidate engagement and satisfaction throughout the recruitment process.

Build trusted relationships with UK consultants through reliability, communication, and quality delivery.

Keep recruitment activity and candidate records accurate and up to date.


Requirements


Person Specification

Essential

1–3 years' recruitment experience, ideally recruiting within the UK market.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Strong telephone and relationship-building skills.

Experience sourcing candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, databases, and headhunting techniques.

Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities.

Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Strong attention to detail and excellent administration skills.

Confident using CRM/ATS systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

Highly Desirable

Previous UK education recruitment experience.

Experience recruiting teachers, teaching assistants, SEN staff, or other education professionals.

Knowledge of the UK education sector and recruitment processes.

Experience working with UK clients and candidates.
