MA’AN is implementing an education project in
the different governorates of Gaza Strip. The project aims to provide informal,
fun learning and recreational activities in Temporary Learning Spaces and
Community Led Initiatives to support children’s learning and well-being. MA’AN
seeks to hire a competent Education Project Manager to lead the project's
overall operations.


Roles and Responsibilities:


1.

Lead
the overall planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the
education project, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of project
objectives.


2.

Coordinate
the implementation of education in emergency activities in close collaboration
with education Technical Team and child protection team, ensuring adherence to
approved technical approaches and quality standards.


3.

Develop
and monitor project work plans, implementation schedules, budgets, procurement
plans, and spending forecasts.


4.

Lead the project's overall implementation, ensuring alignment with
project goals and objectives.


5.

Oversee operating Temporary Learning Spaces and Community Led
Initiatives, ensuring they are equipped and functioning according to the
project plan.


6.

Coordinate with the education clusters, national emergency teams
and other stakeholders to ensure safe and secure access to learning spaces.


7.

Supervise
and support project staff, ensuring effective team coordination, performance
management, and capacity development.


8.

Supervise the training program for educators and volunteers ensuring
it covers child-friendly teaching methodologies, trauma-informed approaches,
and child protection.


9.

Ensure
compliance with donor requirements, organizational policies, humanitarian
principles, and relevant protection standards.


10.

Coordinate
with internal support departments, including Finance, HR, Logistics,
Procurement, and MEAL, to ensure smooth project implementation.


11.

Monitor
project progress against targets and budgets, identify implementation
challenges, and develop appropriate corrective actions.


12.

Ensure timely preparation and submission of
high-quality narrative reports, work plans, and other project documentation.


13.

Maintain
effective coordination with donors, UN agencies, clusters, government
counterparts, and partner organizations as required.


14.

Support
activities design, proposal development, budget revisions, and project
close-out processes.


15.

Promote
Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP), safeguarding, PSEA, protection
mainstreaming, disability inclusion, and gender-sensitive programming across
all project activities.


16.

Facilitate
regular coordination meetings between project teams and technical specialists
to ensure effective implementation and continuous quality improvement.


17.

Perform
any other duties assigned by the line manager relevant to the position.


18.

Coordinate with WASH and Child Protection programs to ensure
integrated service delivery.


19.

Participate in inter-agency assessments and redirect resources as
needed in emergencies.


Requirements


1.

Bachelor’s degree in education, Social Sciences, or related field.


2.

Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in
humanitarian contexts.


3.

Strong understanding of child protection and education in
emergencies.


4.

Proven experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and
intersectoral coordination.


5.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.


6.

Fluent in English.
