Responsible for the education of new fathers as related to specialty.
Provides peer-led education and instruction using approved curriculum for new fathers.

Pay Rate: Based on Experience

Shift Details: PRN positions (zero budget hours) Education Instructor to teach Boot Camp for New Dads course curriculum at McKay-Dee Hospital. Classes will be taught on Saturday mornings once or twice a month. Classes may also be scheduled on a weekday evening once a month.

Location: Caregiver will be employed through Community Education Services at McKay Dee Hospital and teach classes at McKay-Dee Hospital. Caregiver(s) will be required to attend the Boot Camp for New Dads coach training in Denver, Colorado on October 9-10, 2026.


Additional Details: Ability to enthusiastically and strategically manage a classroom of new and expecting fathers and coach them through the Boot Camp for New Dads course curriculum.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to instruct others.
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Six months previous healthcare field experience.
  • Parenting Experience.

Job Essentials

  • Teaches approved curriculum and reviews/revises as appropriate.
  • Keeps materials up-to-date and adequately stocked.
  • Maintains material and supplies, cleaning as necessary and storing appropriately.
  • Organizes meeting space and meeting set-up needs.
  • Completes all tracking/monitoring documentation as needed.
  • Reviews evaluation forms and other feedback and responds appropriately to improve the program.
  • Works with their supervisor to do an overall course review and make appropriate revisions to the curriculum and class materials at appropriate intervals and whenever requested.
  • Arrives promptly including time for room and audiovisual preparation prior to classes.
  • Comes well prepared to teach each session.

Preferred Qualifications

  • As applicable: BLS Certification / Childbirth Educator Instructor Certification / First Aid Instructor Certification / Fitness Instructor Certification

$20.45 - $27.04
