Job Description

The Education Specialist at Blue Yonder will be responsible for developing and delivering educational programs that support the professional development of both employees and customers. This individual will collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging and effective training materials, ensuring alignment with Blue Yonder’s strategic goals and technical proficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

Training Event Planning & Scheduling

  • Coordinate and schedule paid client training engagements (virtual, onsite, and hybrid) aligned to implementation timelines
  • Manage event calendars, timelines, and dependencies across multiple concurrent client programs
  • Ensure alignment between contracted training scope and scheduled delivery

Logistics & Delivery Execution

  • Manage all training logistics including session setup, enrollment, platform readiness (LMS/virtual tools), and materials coordination
  • Confirm trainer readiness, course materials, and system environments prior to delivery
  • Act as the central point of coordination during live events to ensure smooth execution and rapid issue resolution

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with Sales and Services teams to understand client requirements, contracted deliverables, and key milestones
  • Work closely with Resource Management to schedule instructors and optimize utilization
  • Coordinate with Trainers to ensure preparedness, alignment on objectives, and delivery expectations
  • Collaborate with Education Operations to manage scheduling systems, reporting, and program tracking
  • Interface with Finance to support billing, revenue recognition, and invoicing accuracy

Client Engagement & Communication

  • Serve as a primary coordination contact for clients regarding training schedules, logistics, and expectations
  • Manage all pre- and post-training communications including confirmations, access details, and follow-ups
  • Ensure a high-quality, professional client experience throughout the training lifecycle

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain accurate records of training events, attendance, and completion metrics
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and consistency
  • Support standardization of tools, templates, and best practices across Education Services
