Job Category: Nonprofit - Social ServicesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop project-based curriculum for younger youth and oversee its implementation
- Train Project Facilitators to effectively implement project-based learning activities
- Train Work Readiness Facilitator to effectively implement curriculum
- Develop work readiness curriculum for older youth
- Create project-based learning summary for younger youth work readiness training using Microsoft PowerPoint and lead one-hour training
- Schedule project-based learning activities
- Arrange for guest speakers, as applicable
- Work closely with Counselors to address academic barriers youth may be facing and work with youth to resolve them
- Assist youth with college application process and form linkages with colleges
- Participate in weekly meetings with Program Director and Job Developer
- Assist Project Developer in the coordination of culminating event
- Other related duties as assigned
COMPETENCIES
- Minimum of three years related experience working in the field of youth development
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
- Must be able to effectively prioritize responsibilities, set and meet deadlines; strong communication & writing skills
- Prior experience developing and facilitating project-based activities preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office

Bachelor's degree
