Day ShiftDevelops, designs and implements the FirstChoice National Travel program educational plan. Assists in the development of the FirstChoice educational programs at each hub in collaboration with the site-specific resources. Facilitates staff competency in providing relationship-based care by using adult learning methodology, which incorporates demonstrating interest in, and respect for learners, and creating an environment of safety for both patients and nursing staff. Works to assess, plan, develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate skill acquisition and the learning process of system-wide employees. Work activities include such collaborative functions as orientation, preceptor development and programming, continuing education, staff development, mandatory education, and new product/new process education.

Facilitates learnerdevelopment andsocializationbyhelping nursing staff develop and integrate the values and behaviorsexpected.
Utilizesassessment andevaluationstrategiestoassess and evaluate student learning.
Participatesincourse/programdesign andevaluation ofoutcomesin order toformulateand evaluatecourseoutcomes, anddesign coursesprograms that reflect contemporary health care trends.

Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health’s Integrityand ComplianceProgramand Codeof Conduct, as well as other policies and proceduresin order toensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Mustpossessa comprehensive knowledge of nursing practice and education normally obtained through aBachelor's degree in Nursing, andfive (5)years' experiencein a Nursing departmentwith increasing responsibility and interest in education,practiceandquality.
Minimum of one(1)year in a formalNursingEducator role
Must have current Nursing License.
Ability to continuously learn and seek professional development and growth through journals, professional local,regionaland national affiliations, continuing education programs, seminars, and workshops to keep abreast of trends.
Experience in designing and developingvarious typesof training and curriculum, and training trainers to deliver content.
Broad knowledge of training and deployment principles, methodologies, and techniques,deliveryand evaluation.
Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
