The Education Coordinator - Research Education Core (REC) provides comprehensive administrative and programmatic support for the North Texas Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (NT-ADRC) REC by coordinating scholar recruitment, onboarding, educational programming, and mentor engagement. This role oversees scholar progress tracking, maintains program databases and documentation, prepares reports and NIH/NIA-required materials, organizes seminars, workshops, meetings, and trainee events, and facilitates communication among scholars, faculty, leadership, and collaborating cores. The coordinator also manages program calendars, meeting records, outreach materials, and compliance activities to ensure the successful implementation of REC educational initiatives in accordance with institutional and federal requirements, while serving as the primary administrative contact for scholars, mentors, and program partners.
Works under direction to coordinate administration of educational programs of department or unit, such as medical student education, graduate student education, internship training, residency training, and postdoctoral fellowship programs.
