Job Description

Compensation: Up to $32 per hour (DOE) with a 10% differential for 2nd Shift position.

No Mandatory Overtime!

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Set up and operate Wire EDM machines to cut complex shapes from various conductive materials.
  • Write and modify CNC programs for precision part fabrication.
  • Install fixtures, set up wire EDM machines, and prepare for production runs.
  • Inspect and measure finished parts using precision gauges and indicators to ensure they meet strict specifications and tolerances.
  • Identify and resolve issues that arise during machine operation to maintain efficiency and quality.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on EDM machines to keep them in optimal working condition.
  • Shift: 2nd (Potential for OT)

Additional Skills:

  • Proficiency in CNC programming and operation, particularly with Wire EDM machines.
  • A strong understanding of machine tools and mechanical principles.
  • Ability to work with high precision and a keen eye for detail.
  • Skills to diagnose and address issues with machine performance or part quality.
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Understanding of various electrically conductive materials and their properties.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift 40 lbs. occasionally
  • Standing for prolonged periods of time
  • 20/20 vision with correction
