Job Description



Leading EDM job shop is seeking a full time experienced operator of Agie and/or Makino machines. Candidate must have a minimum 5 years experience with set-ups, operation, and inspection of parts. Knowledge of general machining practices (mill, lathe, grinders, etc.) is a plus. Must be capable of reading and understanding blueprints and speak fluent English.



  • Program, set up, and operate EDM machines
  • Inspect parts produced
  • Perform routine machine maintenance
  • Enter programs and all necessary parameters into machine control
  • Clean and preventative maintenance of machines
Qualifications

  • 5 Year minimum experience in operating Wire EDM machines with knowledge of machining processes.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Ability to use precision tools, such as micrometers and gauges, for quality inspection.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.

We offer job stability and competitive wages along with a pleasant work environment. Positions are available on 1st and the 2nd shift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25-40 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Compensation includes competitive pay, medical, 401k, paid holidays & vacation. Must be willing to work overtime.  1st & 2nd shifts available.
