EDITORIAL SUPERVISOR
Reports to: Associate Director, Editorial
The Editorial Supervisor is responsible for taking on accounts both as a dedicated and a secondary brand editor. The dedicated editor for an account is the keeper of all things editorial, acting as the lead editor and proofreader on all print and digital tactics, including websites, interactive visual aids, emails, microsites, print ads, brochures, direct mailers, and conference materials. In the role of secondary editor, the Editorial Supervisor performs second reads at critical junctures on other editors’ brands to ensure error-free deliverables and provides support across accounts depending on the workload of other editors.
This position will be part of the oncology-focused Amino division at Calcium+Company. We are seeking someone with extensive oncology experience (ie, with immunotherapies or other targeted treatments), and with launch experience as either a lead editor or part of a larger launch team.
Beyond the day-to-day work of reviewing jobs and keeping them moving, the Editorial Supervisor may have direct reports at the Editor/Senior Editor level and take on additional responsibilities as needed when the Editorial Director/Associate Editorial Director is out of the office. The Editorial Supervisor may take a leadership role in managing department initiatives or large editorial projects that require supervising additional staff members for the length of the project. Additionally, the Editorial Supervisor embodies the Calcium+Company core values of commitment, integrity, and respect, both in their work and in their relationships with their co-workers and external clients.
