
Ecco, an imprint of HarperCollins, is seeking an Editorial Assistant to provide administrative and editorial support to two executive editors who acquire books across a wide range of fiction and non-fiction categories, including literary fiction and upmarket commercial fiction, memoir, science, nature, and social and cultural trends.
Ecco is a small, author-centric imprint with a progressive spirit, and our mission is to publish a select list of eclectic, diverse, and forward-thinking books. Ecco is home to both legendary authors and new talents, and our titles include top literary and commercial fiction, science and nature, biography, politics, poetry, cookbooks, memoir, literature in translation, and rediscovered classics. Our authors have won numerous prizes and awards, including the Nobel Prize, the Pulitzer Prize, the National Book Award, and many others. For over 50 years, Ecco books have forged lasting relationships with readers.

The salary for this position is $52,500. We recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. As a result, we aim for flexibility in structuring competitive compensation offers to ensure we are able to attract the best candidates. The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
