We are hiring an Editor
on behalf of our client in the Advertising sector. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for editing, proofreading, and refining content to ensure clarity,
accuracy, and alignment with the company’s tone and style guide.
Key
Responsibilities:
v
Content
Editing: Edit, proofread, and refine content for grammar, style, clarity, and
consistency.
v
Draft
Review: Collaborate with writers and content creators to review and enhance
drafts before publication.
v
Fact-Checking:
Verify accuracy and credibility of all content.
v
Consistency
& Formatting: Ensure uniform formatting, typography, headlines, and
multimedia integration per editorial guidelines.
v
Content
Strategy Support: Work with the content and marketing teams to align editorial
content with company objectives, including SEO optimization.
v
Quality
Control: Uphold high editorial standards to maintain the company’s voice and
messaging.
v
Feedback
& Guidance: Provide constructive feedback to writers to improve content
quality.
v
Final
Approval: Oversee final content signoffs and ensure timely publication.
Requirements:
v
Bachelor’s
degree in journalism, English, Communications, or a related field (preferred
but not required)
v
Proven
experience as an Editor, Content Editor, or similar role, with a strong
portfolio.
v
Excellent
command of the English language.
v
Strong
attention to detail, with expertise in grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
v
Familiarity
with SEO best practices and web content editing.
v
Proficiency
in editing tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Grammarly, or
industry-specific software).
v
Strong
communication and interpersonal skills.
v
Ability
to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Preferred
Qualifications:
v
Experience
in video or multimedia editing.
v
Familiarity
with Content Management Systems (CMS).
v
Knowledge
of social media trends and digital marketing.
v
Background
in Advertising industry.
