Job Description

EDI Specialist

Nordic Semiconductor is looking for an EDI Specialistwho will be responsible for managing data exchange with vendors and analysis for the Supply Chain team.


Responsibilities:

EDI Transaction Management

  • Oversee EDI transactions with vendors and partners to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and on‑time delivery.

  • Analyze B2B integration issues and collaborate with vendors to drive resolution.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to validate data and support daily operational needs.

EDI Specifications & Enhancements

  • Gather business requirements and define EDI specifications based on product and process needs.

  • Work with external vendors to negotiate EDI requirements and track implementation progress.

  • Design, execute, and validate testing scenarios for new integrations or enhancements.

  • Maintain clear documentation, including process descriptions and data flow diagrams.

Qualifications:

  • Project management and Interpersonal skills for vendor coordination and troubleshooting

  • Knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange, especially in Enterprise Resource Planning systems and B2B for Supply Chain

  • Familiarity with data management tools and scripts (Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, etc.)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline

  • English communication skills, verbal and written
